What is in the kit

One 1 kg bag of sterilised whole oat grain spawn and one 2.2 kg bag of CV Prime substrate: the 1 : 2 pairing our kits are built on. Both are the original MushRealm ACS recipe, and buying them together saves £6.99 on the two bags.

It is a grain and substrate kit, sometimes called a spawn to bulk kit: everything for the bulk stage, matched by weight so you are not left with half a bag of either. Both bags arrive ready: the grain is pressure-sterilised in a filter-patch bag with a self-healing injection port, and CV Prime is pasteurised coco coir and vermiculite at field capacity. You add live mycelium of the gourmet species you want to grow.
