What is in the kit

The single kit is one 3 lb bag of sterilized milo grain spawn and one 5 lb bag of CV Prime substrate, matched for one grow. The double kit is twice that, 6 lb of grain spawn and 10 lb of CV Prime, at a lower price per pound.

It is a grain and substrate kit, sometimes called a spawn to bulk kit: everything for the bulk stage, matched by weight so you are not left with half a bag of either. Both bags arrive ready: the grain is pressure-sterilized in a filter-patch bag with a self-healing injection port, and CV Prime is pasteurized coco coir and vermiculite at field capacity. You add live mycelium of the gourmet species you want to grow.
